Oh Baby

Olivia's new thing is to say baby as much as possible. She says it to me, to Chuck, to the dog, anything. She doesn't just say baby, but she will say things like "oh baby" or "yeah baby". She also throws in "hi baby" and "bye baby". She has also started rubbing my tummy and saying "baby" and then hugging me.

Olivia now says "thank you" (it sounds like "tang too" when Olivia says it) whenever she is given something. She usually whispers it as well. She is able to look at ceratin pictures and tell me what they are (she says "ow" for cat - you know meow) she also knows on, off, up down, in and out and we are starting to work on colors. Also, when we are picking up the living room for the night, Olivia now helps put her toys away, though most of the time she turns around and gets them back out.

Unfortunately, Olivia has been a little turkey this week. Of course she chose the week that Kim was on vacation to start teething again, so no relief for me, Her mood is great one minute and the next she is the biggest crab ever. She is hardly eating and is constantly drooling. I know for sure 2 new bottom teeth have come in (I accidently found them the other day when trying to pry my fingers out of the clutches of her teeth) but she will not let me in to see if anymore have popped up. She is now up to 14 teeth for sure.

Below are a couple pictures of Olivia's battle wound from when Aunt Dani and Bridgie came from Pella to babysit on Tuesday morning. First time ever Dani babysits and my kid gets a gash on the eye . . .

Whenever she gets the chance Olivia hightails it to the bathroom to play with anythign she can get her hands on. As of lately, it's toilet paper.
