As most of you who read this blog alreay know (and were a part of) Olivia had her 1st birthday party yesterday. It was a long day and Olivia was WAY over-stimulated, but we all had a great time. Olivia seemed to enjoy her cake (once she realized what to do with it) and I would like to say had fun playing with her new toys, but I think she enjoyed the paper and boxes more!

Just an update other than a 1st birthday party. Kim has now taught Olivia to say mine, though it sounds more like my. Olivia also says hi in a sing song voice every time she see's someone or something of interest. She also said bye-bye when my mom took what remained of her cake off of her high chair tray yesterday. Mom and mama are said on a regular basis (every stinkin time she wants something) as is pup (still whispered). She gets closer to walking independently each day, but is still lazy and would rather crawl. After tappering off some, the biting has returned and is still strongly disliked by the recipient (namely me).
