Olivia now "pounds it" and blows it up at the end. It's awesome. She enjoys it so much that she even gets a little cranky when you tell her all done. We must give props to Aunt Stacy who started this back in the day when Olivia just sort of looked at her like she was a lunatic (*Note, Olivia is a good judge of character even at this age). Olivia also gives the thumbs up sign, taught to her by Pop Pop Mackin.
I was reading a piece of literature (needed to throw in a word that made me sound smart and sophisticated)that we received at the pediatricians last week. It said that at this age (18 months) a child should be able to say 15-20 words other than mama and dada. This prompted me to write down all the words that Olivia says. The list continues to grow as I have forgotten some and then remember them as she says them again. Anyway, we are up to about 52 words that she says on a regular basis. Add to her list of vocabulary "dang it" now as well. Hey, it's better than "shit".
We spent the weekend at Nana and Grandpa B's house with Chuck's sister and her kids this weekend. We had a wonderful weekend and Olivia did a great job. She had a few conversations with Nana B (literally nothing no one could understand but the two of them)and loved hanging out with her big cousins even though she see's them everyday at Kim's house.

How funny. I love "dang it". Cracks me up
I'm glad I can help teach her new tricks...but I'm not a lunatic! Geez... are you ever nice to me? Did you post that before or after you asked me to babysit on a Saturday Night?
