What A Day.......

Olivia brought in her birthday by being a crab. Though she did show off her new word a couple of times this morning. Down. Which is what she tells KB after Chuck or I tell him to go lay down, as he waits eagerly next to Olivia's high chair for food to drop. However, when Olivia says it, it sounds more like "dowe". Anyway, she tantrumed and cried before we left for Kim's this morning and even managed to have a HUGE cry at Kim's before I left, lunging towards me (Kim was holding her) and then refusing to return to Kim (first time for everything). The report I received when Chuck returned home with Olivia at the end of the day was that she tantrumed and cried all day. She pulled big cousin Elise's hair, pulled Nay Nay's hair, which caused Nay Nay to run everytime Olivia came near her, hit baby Anthony in the head seeings how he had no hair to pull and every time she was told no she would scream and sob. Kim finally stopped telling her no and just started moving her away from the others when she was being naughty. I guess she was so bad (crying/screaming) that with her ears covered, Elise said "can't you make her stop doing that"?

The fun continued once she got home for the evening (you know it is bad when I tell Chuck to make me a drink and it isn't even 5:30 yet). As she was lying on the changing table I decided to take a peek in her mouth and low and behold there were teeth #7 and #8 staring back at me. What the heck! Those little boogers were NOT there this morning (well, at least I don't think they were, I didn't really look, but I know they weren't there last night because I brushed her teeth at bed time). No wonder she was a pain in the butt all day. OK, I am sure it wasn't just the teeth, but I am sure they didn't help matters either. I should have known they were coming, because every gosh darn time Olivia sees Grandma and Grandpa B she ends up with a tooth within the next day or two. Hmm, how is that odd. Let's think about that for a minute.

Other than being crabby and in pain (not just Olivia) we managed to have a great birthday evening. Grandma and Pop Pop came over for dinner and Olivia opened 2 more gifts (mmm, just what she needs, more stuff) from Chuck and I. She even got a little piece of cake, which she smeared all over the kitchen table and her face. Olivia sucked down her bottle and was in bed and asleep by 8:30. Ahh, peace and quiet.

1 year, can you believe it?

She just gets cuter and cuter by the day!

Hey, Olivia and Korben got tooth #8 on the same day! They must be ka-hoots (I have no idea how to spell that!) together!
