Oh The Likeness

So, many people still comment about how much Olivia looks like Chuck. I fully used to agree with them until a few months ago. There is a particular picture on the wall of me at my parents house, which I always picture in my mind when I look at Olivia. Well, after Olivia's birthday bash, my mom dug out some pictures of me when I was Olivia's age. Holy smokes. Hold onto you britches. Below you will now understand where Olivia gets her mischievious and goofy scrunched up face (oh and her good looks). Now you tell me, who does she look like? That's what I thought.

So, besides looking like her mother, Olivia has added a new item to her diet. She has recently began eating her crib. No lie. The stinker sits in there happy as a lark, making me think she is asleep or looking at her books and she is really nawing on her crib rails. Not cool. I painstakingly made sure that we did not nick that bed at all when Chuck put it together and placed it in her room. I went out and bought rail guards yesterday. Of course they don't fit.

Finally, while watching the Super Bowl last night at Grandma and Pop Pop's house, Olivia received her first battle wound in the middle/right of her forehead (her left). Apparently, she feel and knocked her head on a toy that was at her feet. Look closely and you can see the purple bruise in the middle of her forehead (it looks like a purple line). This I am told, is the first of many.

Oh, one more thing. This picture just cracks me up of my brother and I when we were kids. I had to add it to the blog. Apparently I loved Long John Silvers back then too.
