Mini-van Mama

Ahh, that makes me laugh! I swore that I would NEVER get a min-van no matter what. Well, guess who went test driving last night and absolutely can't wait to get a mini-van? It was on our trip back from Green Bay over spring break (and I literally had known for 4 days that I was pregnant) that I vowed that a mini-van would be bought before Baby #2 arrived. I absolutely hated sitting on my knees in the front seat, stretching over to the back seat and trying to find binky for Olivia 500 zillion times. Plus, where the heck would we fit 2 car seats and KB when we all needed to go somewhere? So, my car was re-financed as of yesterday for a lower payment and we will be trading in Chuck's "ghetto car" as I call it. We will be lucky if we get $10 out of that thing, but its better than nothing. As of today the mini-van of choice is a 2007 Toyota Sienna. Chuck is returning with me tomorrow to check it out.

On to Olivia. Unfortunately, Olivia is sick again. That pesky respiratory virus she had a couple months ago (remember when we ended up at the ER) has returned. Only this time she can hardly stand the pain of her throat. She has had a temp of 102 since Monday late afternoon and it has continued into today. We went to the doctor and her ears are great, but her throat is incredibly red and raw. She cries and cries, can't eat because of the pain and was so afraid to drink her milk this morning that she was holding her sippy in front of her mouth sobbing and literally shaking. Poor pumpkin. She cried in her sleep throughout the night as well. Hopefully, this will pass, but until then it's going to be rough for her.

Tammy - embrace the minivan. Since I was about 24 and rode in one and felt how comfy they are, I've always wanted one. they are so convenient, who wouldnt want one.. or two per family.
