7 Months and 2 Days

Olivia apparently thinks she is beyond having to sit in her car seat because more often than not recently we are experiencing shrieks of horror and ridiculous protests whenever we try and put her in the carseat. This afternoon she decided to climb into the other chair in the backseat and proceeded to try and put the seatbelt on. Let me just say that Olivia arching her back and straightening her body is almost impossible to fight against when one is 7 months and 2 days pregnant. It literally takes all I have to get her in the seat and I can feel it pull straight across the big ole belly.

Olivia also believes that she is such a big girl now that she can walk every where. Now, this is actually a blessing of sorts (being 7 months and 2 days pregnant) as she is getting a little heavy for me to lug around at this point. With that said, it is NOT a blessing when I want to buzz into Target real quick and she refuses to sit in the cart, but instead wants to walk. What should have taken a measley 5 minutes, ended up being a 20 minute adventure of sorts. The child meandered her way through the store (she usually runs everywhere) and then decided it would be fun to take every stinkin thing within her reach off of the shelves and place them elsewhere. Let me also add to this that Olivia has become quite the pro at dropping to the ground and going dead weight (real fun when you are 7 months and 2 days pregnant, carrying a purse on one arm and holding the convenient red Target basket with the hand that is not pulling Olivia's arm out of it's socket in an attempt to stand her back up). Oh, it gets better. She then decides (while sitting in the middle of the aisle) that it is a good time for a nap, looks at me, says "night night" and lays on her tummy. At that point in the game I had become extrememly amused and just started laughing. Olivia took advantage of this momentary lapse in judegement, stood up and took off running through the girls clothes section. Being 7months and 2 days pregnant AND it being the end of the day, I was in no shape to run after her. After at least 2 passes through that particular section of the store and pulling socks off the hooks as she ran through, I finally put the kabash on the shenanigans and carried her to the check-out with her saying "down" the entire time.

By the way I am now 7 months and 2 days pregnant (in case you didn't know). Things are going well and I am measuring two weeks ahead of schedule. I am coming up on the home stretch and am very ready to be DONE!
